Larsen & Toubro, one of India’s leading engineering, technology, and construction conglomerates, entered into a definitive agreement with Mr. VG Siddhartha and his related entities to acquire approximately 20.3% stake in Mindtree in an all-cash transaction.
Additionally, Larsen & Toubro placed an order with its broker Axis Capital for an on-market purchase of up to 15% of share capital of Mindtree. Larsen & Toubro also announced an open offer under SAST Regulations to acquire an additional 31% stake.
Mindtree’s offerings include application development & maintenance, consulting, package implementation, digital & cloud, testing, and infrastructure management services.
Axis Capital acted as the Lead Financial Advisor to Larsen & Toubro Limited for acquisition of a controlling stake in Mindtree Limited. Handholding the organization, it executed the transaction end-to-end, ensuring the following:
