Sam Kamath leads the New Economy Group. His role is to assist start-up’s with their capital raises from Series A & above
Sam brings 20+ years of experience in technology and investment banking across US, Middle East, and India. Prior to joining Axis Capital in April-22, he was the CFO at Mu Sigma, a leading global data analytics firm, and before that he was the Head of Technology Investment Banking at ICICI Securities. Sam has been in the US for 16+ years, lastly as an Investment Banker based out of New York, where he covered primarily TMT companies.
Sam has an MBA in Finance & Accounting from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, USA and BE in Electronics from Mysore University. Sam is an avid traveller and enjoys sports and adventure.
